The Seton Hall Pirates look to build on their solid start to the year, where the Pirates find themselves at 4-1 following a 90-79 consolation bracket victory over Quinnipiac. Desi Rodriguez led Seton Hall in the game with 23 points and 11 rebounds, his 2nd double-double of the season as he fell 1 rebound shy of a double-double in each of his 2 games prior. Leading scorer Khadeen Carrington put up 17 points on 7 of 16 from the field, while Michael Nzei joined Rodriguez with a double-double of his own, posting 19 points to go along with a game-high 12 boards. Where the Pirates would like to improve is at the foul line where Seton Hall is making just 63.6% of their attempts this season.
Stanford is 0-4 ATS against a team with a winning record and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Sunday games while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall. Seton Hall is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 Sunday games.
Neither team has much to play for in this one besides keeping their respective near-perfect record in tact. With that said, This should be a good game from start to finish if both teams play hard to finish the tournament which is why I’ll side with Stanford and the points.
