St. Bonaventure Bonnies Vs. Cleveland State Vikings
12/15/12 Mark’s Free College Basketball Pick Against the Spread
Cleveland State has seemed to lack direction at times and lacked just about everything in an 80-63 loss to North Carolina State. The Vikings had won four of five before running in to a hot shooting Wolfpack who nailed 54.7% from the field and 18-23 from the line. The Vikings hit at 43.9% but 18 turnovers combined with no Anton Grady was too much to over come. Without Grady, Charles Lee paced a trio of double digit scorers with 15 points and eight turnovers, with Devon Long adding 12 points and nine rebounds while Tim Kamczyc chipped in with another ten points. Eight players found the scoring column but the issue was NC State didn't miss.
St Bonaventure came back from a 17 second half deficit to take a late two point lead before running out of gas in a 73-70 defeat at the hands of Arkansas State. To say the Bonnies miss Andrew Nicholson is an understatement as his scoring and rebounding are missed especially in a close game such as this where the Red Wolves just shot the ball better. St Bonaventure hit at 42.1% and ASU at 46.2% with both teams sporting three players in double figures. Chris Johnson sank a game high 19 points on 7-15 shooting with Matthew Wright tossing in 13 points while Charlon Kloof chipped in with ten points.
St Bonaventure has the upper hand on two fronts with this being a home game and no Anton Grady for Cleveland State. I'll take a shot with the points but that's a scary proposition without Grady...
Mark’s Pick: Cleveland State +7
