I think many of the mistakes that Miami made could be attributed to their youth. I like the fact that Miami has one QB with Marve gone and Harris now the signal caller. In my opinion, Harris is a better passer and isn't as prone to the interception. I'm not a big Christian Ponder fan and think Miami can keep this close enough to make things uncomfortable for FSU and possibly steal a win. - Mark R

This game is CLOSE every year. I am an FSU grad and have watched FSU's National Championship asperations go down the drain on this game for 30 years. Miami always seems to have FSU's number and were ALWAYS out coached in the end regardless of where it was played. FSU always seems to be the winner until the last few plays and losses it on bad decision making, FSU/Bobby Bowden would take a conservative approach in the fourth quarter and leave it in the hands of his nationally ranked defense to save them but Miami would always find a way to squeek by. Recently, the tide has turned and the boneheaded mistakes are now being made on Miami's sideline. Coach, Jimbo Fischer has gotten Bobby to throw out the conservative fourth quarter approach and go for blood. It seems to have worked because Miami's Randy Shannon doesn't know how to counter. The games used to always be low scoring defensive battles but have switched to high scoring shootouts. This comes down to coaching and Randy Shannon is clueless. FSU 37 Miami 35 - Jeff

You are right, there wasn't much. I've seen much worse at many other schools. Fights, guns, cheating on tests, etc, right here at Delaware and Delaware State. - Mark R

The reality of it is, Miami getting press for players being arrested is a myth, try googling miami players being arrested and you won't find much. maybe they taunted and celebrated on the field but off the field they are choir boys compared to most programs. - Mitch
