With three races left in the season, Nascar moves to Texas Motor Speedway for the Dickies 500 on Sunday. Jimmie Johnson survived Talladega and should be able to easily coast home for this forth straight Sprint Cup Championship. Mark Martin is 184 points behind Johnson and needs a miracle. If Mark Martin wins all three remaining races, Johnson needs only finish in the top ten in those races to win the title. It will be interesting to see what Nascar changes for next year to avoid this type of ho hum end of the season.

Carl Edwards is the defending champion of this race having beaten Jeff Gordon last year by over eight seconds. Last weeks winner, Jamie McMurray finished third followed by Clint Boyer and Greg Biffle. The race featured just five cautions and 16 lead changes.

Unless your the 48 team, your going all out to win this race. It will take on a flare of the All Star race as there really isn't much else to race for. Lets take a look at two drivers we think will have a shot at the victory.

Jeff Gordon- Jeff sits just behind Martin in the standings and needs wins. In the past four years, Gordon has three top 10 finishes with his worst finish being 14th.

Matt Kenseth- Kenseth has run well here and also has three top 10 finishes in the last four years including a second place finish in 2007 and a third place in 2005.
