Word is out that Danica Patrick is considering a move from IndyCar to NASCAR next year. Such a move has been common place over the past 5 years due to the discrepancy in money and local media exposure between the two circuits. With the loss of driver Martin Truex Jr. to Michael Waltrip Racing, Earnhardt Ganassi has an opening for Patrick to slide in and possibly bring Target or GoDaddy along as a sponsor. Patrick's IndyCar contract is up after 2009 and would open the driver/model to racing a combination of ARCA, Nationwide and Sprint Cup races. |
