TV:

With Week 6 of the fantasy football season at a close, it’s time to start looking forward to your team’s seventh game. Hopefully you’re on the right side of .500 (or at least right on it) and in the thick of the playoff hunt in your league. Let’s take our daily look at the fantasy football world and see what’s happening out there to the noteworthy players. Here’s the latest.

Colts-Chargers Fantasy Notes: Unless you had either Nick Novak or Adam Vinatieri, you’re probably coming away from last night’s Colts-Chargers game disappointed. The 19-9 San Diego victory was mostly a kickers’ duel, with the two men combining for five field goals.
Pretty much everyone else on the field was a disappointment, save for Danny Woodhead (83 total yards), Ryan Mathews (102 yards) and Keenan Allen (107 yards and a score). We still don’t quite know what to make of Trent Richardson’s downfall. He posted just 40 yards on 10 carries.

Zach Miller, TE, Seattle Seahawks: One possible pickup for those with tight ends on bye this week is Miller. He’s been out for two straight games with a hamstring injury, but the good news is that he was able to put in a limited practice this week.
On the downside, Miller has just two more days to get ready for his team’s Week 7 game. The Seahawks will be traveling to Arizona for “Thursday Night Football.” He’s a lower-end add, sure, but if he’s healthy he could help out.

Rob Housler, TE, Arizona Cardinals: We’ve got another intriguing TE on the other side of that Thursday-night matchup. Housler has been quite a disappointment this season (even though we--and many others--were thinking he’d have a breakout campaign), but there have been signs of improvement. He logged a season-high four catches in Week 6, and is capable of having that one big game at any time.
The drawback (isn’t there always a drawback?) is that he’s also dealing with an injury. He was limited during yesterday’s practice due to an ankle issue. Like Miller, he’s a lower-end consideration, but may be worth looking at in deeper leagues.

Jimmy Graham, TE, New Orleans Saints: Let’s stick with the TE theme in today’s edition and check out Graham, whose bye-week is the source of angst to many a fantasy owner. He, also, is dealing with an injury as the Saints head into their empty Sunday, suffering a foot injury in the waning minutes of New Orleans’ head-slapping loss to the Patriots.
The good news is that the team is optimistic here, and there’s a sense that Graham may not have to miss any games. It’ll be an agonizing week for his fantasy owners, as there’s nothing to do but stay patient and see how things play out, but at least there’s some hope that he can remain on the field.

Terrance Williams, WR, Dallas Cowboys: Don’t let Miles Austin’s return scare you off Williams. If the Week 6 numbers are to be trusted moving forward, he’ll remain a huge part of the offense. Williams played 37 snaps to Austin’s 35, and the veteran didn’t record any catches. The scales might tip a bit as Austin recovers, but we still expect Williams to remain a huge part of the Dallas offense.
