Week 8 Matchups to Watch
Washington Redskins at Denver Broncos - Fantasy owners that invested in the Broncos and Cowboys were stoked with the outcome from their meeting in week 5, and now fantasy owners that invested in the Redskins are hoping for a similar shootout. The NFC East teams are not known for having tough defenses, but there are some very potent offenses in that division. The Redskins put 45 points on the board last week against the Bears, and the Broncos defense just allowed the Colts to score 39 points. Peyton Manning was beaten by the #1 QB picked in the 2012 draft last week and now he must go head-to-head with the #2 QB picked in the same draft. This game should have fantasy owners excited, unless the team you're playing this week is loaded with Broncos or Redskins.
Will this game produce more combined points than the Denver at Dallas game did?

Can RGIII keep pace with Peyton Manning?
Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings - Last year's fantasy MVP, Adrian Peterson, has not played like the best running back in the NFL lately. The main reason for Peterson's let down has been his lack of touches. The Vikings look like a team going through an identity crisis and the Fantasy Football World is wondering how long it will take for the VIkings to get back to running AP all day. Things will return to some form of normalcy this week because Ponder will once again be the quarterback. The Vikings are playing in another primetime game, and fantasy footballers will be watching to see if the Vikings remember the best running back in the NFL is standing just a few yards behind their quarterback.
The Packers are also a team going through offensive transitions, and it could be argued the Packers are also a team suffering an identity crisis. Fantasy footballers are used to seeing Aaron Rodgers throw the ball all over the field, but things are changing in Green Bay as Eddie Lacy led the NFL is rushing over the last three weeks. The Packers have lost two of their top playmakers in the passing game, Cobb and Finley, and they may just lean on Lacy more and more as the season moves along and the weather gets colder.
Will the Packers continue to feed Eddie Lacy the Rock?
Can the Vikings figure out how to get Adrian Peterson running again?
Can the Vikings QB situation get any worse?
