TV:

We’re coming down to crunch time in those fantasy leagues, and Week 9 (so far) has provided plenty of drama, hope and heartbreak for owners everywhere. While we’re waiting on the final game of the weekend, let’s take a closer look at some of the noteworthy fantasy names out there and see what everyone’s up to. Here’s the latest.

Jimmy Graham, TE, New Orleans Saints: This is starting to turn into a trend. Graham once again fought off a foot injury to play against the Jets, where he once again tallied a pair of touchdowns. His other totals were much better this time, as he managed 116 yards on nine grabs. That’s four multi-TD games this year for Graham and 10 scores on the year. He’s proving to be worth every bit of that top-level fantasy draft pick. He’ll see Dallas next week.

Jamaal Charles, RB, Kansas City Chiefs: Though he didn’t managed to get into the end zone, Charles did end up with a decent yardage total. He posted 96 total against the Bills, with the vast majority (90) coming on the ground. Charles was fighting off a knee injury last week, so it’s good to see him come out of this one healthy. We’ll continue to keep an eye on him when practice resumes. Up next is a bye week for the Chiefs, so Charles owners will have to dig into the bench--or the waiver wire--for a solution in Week 10.

Jason Witten, TE, Dallas Cowboys: Tony Romo and the Cowboys must have forgotten the rule that allows teams to run the football, because they didn’t do any of it in their win against the Vikings. That’s cool for Witten, though, who managed 102 yards and a score on eight receptions. It’s a great bounce-back and a confidence-boosting performance for his owners, who only got 15 yards on two grabs out of him last week. He’s in for another decent matchup next week against the Saints, so you should obviously keep him active.

Zac Stacy, RB, St. Louis Rams: We doubt anyone saw this one coming--we sure didn’t. Stacy piled up the rush yards in the Rams’ loss to the Titans yesterday, accounting for 27 carries and 127 yards. As if that weren’t enough, he also managed two touchdowns, which were the first ground scores of the year for St. Louis.
Now that he’s got two huge games in a row under his belt, things are looking up for Stacy. He’ll face the Colts in a pretty good matchup next week.

Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers: The Panthers have hit their stride, thanks in large part to Newton. He didn’t start out so hot, but calmed things down against the Falcons, ending with 249 pass yards and a score, along with 22 rush yards and another TD on the ground. Newton also tossed a pair of interceptions, his first picks since an ugly outing against the Cardinals on October 6.
The Panthers offense will get a tough test next week, as they’ll be heading to San Francisco to take on the Niners.
