Week 10 Matchups to Watch
There are some very good games this weekend and a few should be big time high scoring fantasy producing games. Dallas at New Orleans has the potential to rival the Broncos vs Cowboys game in week five. And the Denver at San Diego game also has a chance to be the highest scoring game of the week. While these two games will be of much interest to fantasy owners because of their high scoring potential, there are a few other matchups that will have a drastic impact on some players' fantasy values heading into the fantasy playoff push.

Philadelphia at Green Bay - All eyes will surely be on the quarterbacks in this game, and for two different reasons. People will be watching to see if Nick Foles is a future fantasy superstar and they will also be watching to see if Seneca Wallace is a present fantasy saver. Backup quarterbacks have had a major impact on the season this year, and none have had a bigger impact on the fantasy landscape than Nick Foles. Foles is a guy many people are skeptical about, and at the same time, they are very willing to take a risk on him as the starting quarterback of their fantasy team. This is a very big week for Foles. If Foles has another solid game and leads the Eagles to victory, it will be very hard for Chip Kelly to reinstate Vick as the Eagles starting quarterback. On the other hand, if Foles has another flop game like he did against the Cowboys, then the Eagles will be mired in a quarterback controversy for the rest of the season.
Another player whose fantasy fortunes rely on the arm of Foles is Riley Cooper. Fantasy owners who took a gamble on Cooper are hoping Foles has another huge game and asserts himself as the starting quarterback in Philadelphia. Cooper has turned into a fantasy stud since Foles has started throwing the rock for the Eagles, and there is no reason to think the Foles/Cooper connection will stop if Foles wins the Eagles quarterback job.
Seneca Wallace is a reliable old veteran who has been given the keys and asked to drive one of the NFL's most potent offenses. Wallace has been a backup for the majority of his career, but he should be able to keep the Packers on course during Rodgers absence. There are plenty of weapons in Green Bay for Wallace to throw to, and the Packers have also developed one on the NFL's best rushing attacks. Wallace is capable of playing mistake free football, and if he can do that for the next 4-6 weeks, the Packers will remain in the playoff hunt and the Green Bay superstars will remain reliable fantasy options.

Is Riley Cooper a legit fantasy WR?
How will Green Bay's offense perform without Rodgers?
Buffalo at Pittsburgh - It is not often that a matchup between two last place teams with a combined record of 5-12 is a key fantasy matchup. The Bills and Steelers are two teams with underperforming fantasy players, and fantasy owners will be watching to see if these fantasy disappointments can get back on track. C.J. Spiller has disappointed fantasy owners all year, but he showed signs of life last week. Spiller has the chance to run all over the NFL's second worst rushing defense, and if he does, fantasy owners will again view Spiller as a solid fantasy running back. In order for Spiller to regain his first round value, he will have to gash a very desperate Pittsburgh defense. The Steelers were completely embarrassed by the Patriots last week, and now all the Steelers defensive players are playing for their jobs. There is more to this matchup then the stat sheets show, and this game will come down to who wants it more. Fantasy owners will be watching to see which fantasy disappointment, Spiller or the Steelers Defense, is willing to regain their fantasy value by leaving everything they've got on the football field.
How will the Steelers defense respond to their thrashing from last week?
Is C.J. Spiller ready to live up to his fantasy expectations?
