TV:

Now that the playoffs have arrived (or nearly arrived) in the bulk of the fantasy leagues out there, owners will be stressing over each and every lineup decision. It only takes one move to save--or destroy--your season. With that in mind, we’ve perused the waiver wire (like we do every Tuesday) and taken a closer look at the trending names out there at the WR and TE positions. Let’s go over them one by one and see if anyone’s right for your team.

Julian Edelman, WR, New England Patriots: After a trio of horrid weeks, Edelman is now back in a big way. In Week 12, he notched nine grabs for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Last week, he caught nine balls again, this time for 101 yards and his second consecutive double-digit scoring fantasy week.
If Edelman is still available in your league, snatch him up. We like all the attention he’s getting from Tom Brady lately.

Michael Crabtree, WR, San Francisco 49ers: A lot of owners took a “wait-and-see” approach with Crabtree last week. He made his debut against the Rams and notched a pair of catches for 68 yards. One was a nice 60-yard grab-and-run that saw him rack up 42 YAC.
Crabtree will likely be eased back into the offense, but over the next couple of weeks he should get enough work to warrant a look in fantasy. The downside is that he’s playing the Seahawks this week.

Ladarius Green, TE, San Diego Chargers: Now on to this week’s quartet of tight ends. Green has been blazing up the waiver wire recently, and he continued his run of good fantasy games in Week 13. He notched 45 yards and a score in Week 13 against Cincinnati, which was his second consecutive week with a TD.
Green is quickly usurping veteran TE Antonio Gates, and will likely continue the trend this weekend against the Giants.

Zach Ertz, TE, Philadelphia Eagles: Where’d this guy come from? Ertz broke out against the Cardinals in Week 13 with a five-reception, 68-yard, two-touchdown performance that put him firmly in the waiver wire pickup conversation. It was obviously his most productive game of the year.
Ertz has been fighting for fantasy relevance with fellow TE Brent Celek, and just happened to win this week’s battle. It doesn’t hurt that the Cardinals are horrible against tight ends, so that probably figured into the game plan. Pick him up if you’re in a deep league, just don’t expect a big performance every week.

Heath Miller, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers: Miller has landed on our waiver wire radar at several times this season, and here he is again in Week 14. He’s coming off a season-high eight catches for 86 yards against the Ravens, and very nearly had a touchdown in the game.
Miller’s been a pretty reliable plug-and-play TE this season, and will likely continue to be that way. He makes a nice backup if you can get him.

Zach Miller, TE, Seattle Seahawks: Miller stormed onto the waiver wire scene in Monday’s easy defeat of the Saints, and owners are picking up on him. He finished with five receptions for 86 yards and a score. We’re a little more optimistic here since it’s Miller’s second decent week (he had four grabs for 69 yards against the Vikings). He may have developed a little chemistry recently and is worth a look.
