TV:

With just five games on the schedule, we’ve got a relatively light evening ahead of us in the NBA, but there are some solid opportunities out there for daily and weekly fantasy league owners. We’ve examined tonight’s matchups and come up with a handful of off-the-radar players who can add some real value to your fantasy lineup at a very reasonable cost. Let’s take a closer look and see exactly why they deserve your attention.

Jordan Hill, PF, Los Angeles Lakers: Even though he’s posted some lackluster outings this season, Hill has the potential to get hot at a moment’s notice. He did just that last night against the Hawks, posting 21 points and nine rebounds in 28 minutes of action. That gives him 36 points and 18 boards over his last two games.
Hill and the Lakers will be matched up against the Grizzlies tonight, and Memphis is 3-7 over their last 10 games. It presents a prime opportunity for the Lakers to gain some traction.

Jon Leuer, C, Memphis Grizzlies: On the other side of that Lakers-Grizzlies matchup this evening, we have Leuer. He’s got a pretty decent string of games to his credit, with double-digit points totals in each of his last five outings and a 16-point, 12-rebound double-double against the Magic early last week.
He’s coming off a 15-point, nine-rebound effort against Minnesota and should see around 30 minutes of action this evening. Leuer works as a nice low-end C/PF plug-in option right now.

Reggie Jackson, PG, Oklahoma City Thunder: Even though Jackson isn’t a starter, he’s been putting up starter-type numbers during his hot December run. He has a string of nine straight double-digit scoring outings to his credit, and has consistently been good for 4-5 assists and rebounds in each game.
Oklahoma City will be traveling to Denver this evening to take on the Nuggets, and the last time these two teams played they combined for 228 points. There should be plenty of scoring to go around tonight, and Jackson will get in on it.

J.J. Hickson, PF, Denver Nuggets: While we’re on the subject of the Nuggets-Thunder matchup, let’s take a look at Hickson. He’s found his way onto the fantasy radar this week thanks to a big 19-point, 11-rebound effort in a victory over the Pelicans on Sunday. That was Hickson’s third double-double in the last six games.
There’s been talk in Denver about Hickson getting the boot from the starting lineup, but for now his spot is secure. If he can tighten up his defense and continue his inspired play, he presents a prime opportunity for big minutes and big stats.

Josh McRoberts, PF, Charlotte Bobcats: If you’re cruising around the lower end of the spectrum for some across-the-board scoring, look no further than McRoberts. He’s been filling up the stat sheet recently, and though he’s not terribly impressive in any one area he’s a contributor in all phases. Case in point: McRoberts has 15 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, three steals and two blocks in just his last two games.
The Bobcats will host the unimpressive Kings this evening, and if McRoberts can stay out of DeMarcus Cousins’ way, he’ll post a nice line.
