Fantasy Football News: Injury Update 9/13/14
Taking a Look at Some of the Injured Fantasy Players Heading into Week 2
September 13, 2014
Tomorrow marks the busiest day of Week 2 in the NFL, and whether your fantasy team is 0-1 or 1-0 heading into the day’s action, you’ll want to keep on top of the latest injury information. With that in mind, let’s take a look at a few ailing players from across the league and see what their conditions look like for tomorrow’s games.
Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams is listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Lions, and it’s looking like he won’t be out there. Look for Jonathan Stewart to start there.

Raiders RB Maurice Jones-Drew is questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Texans. He’ll likely be a game-time decision, so keep your eye on that one.
Alshon Jeffery owners will have a tough call to make tomorrow night. He’s considered questionable due to a hamstring issue. The uber-WR was able to practice yesterday on a limited basis, but there’s really no telling what his status will be by tomorrow.
Likewise, Jeffery’s partner in crime Brandon Marshall is questionable for Week 2. He was sidelined from practice yesterday due to an ankle injury. He’ll be a game-time decision and is truly a dice-roll for fantasy owners.
Dwayne Bowe looks like he’ll be making his season debut tomorrow. He didn’t have any setbacks on his injured quad this week in practice, so he gets a probable designation for the Broncos game.
Antonio Gates earned a probable designation for tomorrow’s game against the Seahawks. He was able to get through practice without limitations yesterday.
Lions TE Brandon Pettigrew was limited on Wednesday thanks to a foot issue, but got full sessions in yesterday and Thursday. He should be good to go with his probable designation for Week 2.
Lions RB Reggie Bush is also probable; Like Pettigrew, he was limited Wednesday, then practiced in full Thursday and Friday. He should be just fine after a knee injury for tomorrow’s game.
Buccaneers RB Doug Martin was limited in practice; He earned a questionable designation for tomorrow’s game thanks to a knee injury. The good news is that he’s made progress this week. Still, he’ll be a game-time call.
Arizona RB Andre Ellington is questionable for Week 2, but the general consensus among sources close to the team is that he’ll be playing through his foot injury once again.
