Fantasy Football Injury News: Week 7 Outlook on Ailing Players
We’ve got just one day left until the bulk of the Week 7 games in fantasy football, and that means shrewd owners will be taking stock of the injuries on their rosters. With that in mind, let’s check on a few of the notable injury situations out there and see what we can expect in the games tomorrow.
If you were hoping to utilize Titans QB Jake Locker as a stringer this week, it’s looking like that won’t be an option. He was limited in practice yesterday and is ruled questionable due to that thumb injury.
Locker has been dogged by the issue over the past couple of weeks; he sat out Week 6.

Speaking of stringers, you might want to consider the Browns injury report on defense heading into the game against Jacksonville.
Cleveland will be without CB K’Waun Williams, DL Phil Taylor and DL Billy Winn tomorrow. The team has a couple of questionable designations as well in LB Paul Kruger and DL Ahtyba Rubin.
Let’s stick with that Jags-Browns game and look at Toby Gerhart. He’s now officially been ruled out tomorrow due to his foot injury.
This latest setback is only the most recent disappointment in what’s been a letdown of a season so far. Gerhart has rushed for only 126 yards so far.
Without him, Storm Johnson and Denard Robinson will split carries on top, with Jordan Todman doing third-down stuff.
The Falcons’ injury report is filled with probable designations, which is good news for fantasy owners. Both Devin Hester (hamstring) and Julio Jones (ankle) should be good to go for tomorrow against the Ravens.
Only WR Harry Douglas earned the “out” label in the injury report this week.
The Panthers’ Kelvin Benjamin is officially questionable for this week at Lambeau Field against the Packers. He’s trying to get over a concussion.
The good news here is that Benjamin was able to participate in all the drills during the media portion of practice today. He’ll still have to get medical clearance if he wants to play.
Rams RB Zac Stacy got in a full day of practice yesterday and is officially questionable for tomorrow against the Seahawks.
That said, Stacy only played on 25 snaps during Week 6 against the 49ers, so it’s hard to recommend him for anything in a fantasy sense tomorrow.
The Bengals’ A.J. Green is officially doubtful for tomorrow’s game against Indianapolis. He was out of practice all week due to that toe injury.
In his absence, prepare for another heavy dose of Mohamed Sanu.
The Titans’ Shonn Green has been ruled as doubtful. He was out of practice all week and is trying to get over a hamstring injury. This will mark his second straight missed game.
