We’re coming off a rather slow NHL night and headed into a busy one (10 games), which makes this a good time to check out some of the notable injury situations in the fantasy game. We’ve got a collection of ailing player updates for you this morning, so let’s see how everyone’s doing. Here’s the latest.

Karri Ramo of the Flames will be traveling to Arizona with the team for tomorrow’s game.
That said, he won’t be starting tonight (Joni Ortio will be in the net). Look for Ramo to get back out there this weekend at the earliest. He’ll serve as the backup to Jonas Hiller once everything is back to normal.

Ryan Miller is reportedly feeling better and if all goes well he should be back between the pipes for tonight’s game against Philadelphia.
Miller is coming off an illness that had him sidelined in favor of Eddie Lack on Tuesday. He should be okay going forward, though.

The Wild’s Justin Falk did not practice yesterday, which doesn’t bode well for his status tonight against the Sabres. Minnesota is now down a couple of defensemen and will have to dip into the minors to eke by.

Good news on the Penguins’ Steve Downie. He was able to get through practice yesterday, meaning he’s on track to get back to the ice following his suspected concussion.
Downie took an elbow to the head against the Wild on Tuesday but looks to be fine heading into tomorrow’s game against the Isles.

Derek Stepan of the Rangers will be traveling with the team to Boston tonight, but he won’t be playing in the game, so make sure you’ve got him sitting on your fantasy bench.
He left Tuesday’s game with an upper-body injury and sat out of yesterday’s practice. It seems he’s somewhere in the day-to-day area right now and has a shot at getting back in for tomorrow’s game.

The Sabres’ Cody McCormick was placed on injured reserve early this week thanks to a blood clot in his leg. He’s out of the hospital, but as of right now there’s no real timetable for his return to the ice.

Shane Doan of the Coyotes missed out on yesterday’s practice due to an undisclosed issue. He’s doubtful to play tonight against Calgary.
The thinking here is that Doan is suffering from a lower-body injury. We’ll call him day-to-day for now.

The Devils’ Jaromir Jagr will likely be out through the All-Star break. He’s dealing with the flu and recovering very slowly.
