TV:

It’s a fantasy football Monday in the NFL’s Week 9, which makes this a good time to check out some of the notable injury situations out there in the league. Let’s take a closer look at the key players who are ailing right now and see what that might mean for our lineups in Week 10.

The Patriots’ Dion Lewis suffered a knee injury yesterday during the team’s win over the Redskins. The team is hoping that he suffered a sprained ACL rather than a tear, but the MRI will determine that.
With LeGarrette Blount now seemingly solidified as the team’s primary first- and second-down option, we’d be looking at James White and Brandon Bolden to step in if Lewis ends up missing time.

Teddy Bridgewater suffered a nasty-looking hit yesterday and was knocked out on the field during the fourth quarter against the Rams. He was diagnosed with a concussion.
The good news is that Bridgewater is feeling pretty good today and seems to have shown a lot of improvement. If he can’t clear protocols this week, the Vikes would put Shaun Hill in at QB against the Raiders in Week 10.

LeSean McCoy owners got some good news and some bad news yesterday. He put up a nice line in a blowout win over the Dolphins, but ended up leaving the game due to a right shoulder injury.
McCoy’s MRI results will go a long way in determining his status on a short week. The Bills will be on “Thursday Night Football” against the Jets in just a few days. If McCoy can’t play, Karlos Williams will be a hot waiver wire pickup.

Eddie Lacy owners can probably stick a fork in him and call him a first-round fantasy bust this year. He put up just 10 yards on five totes against the Panthers, then left the game for good with a groin injury.
If you’ve got Lacy on your roster, you should immediately add James Starks if you can. Regardless of his status this week, Lacy seems to have been overtaken.

Ben Roethlisberger was knocked out of the Steelers’ nail-biter victory over the Raiders yesterday with a foot sprain. Initially, the first reports claimed he’d be missing at least a few weeks.
Things seem to have brightened up a bit this morning, as the Steelers are reportedly hopeful that Roethlisberger will be out for a week or two. That means Landry Jones will take the snaps for the short-term, with DeAngelo Williams getting a boost in reps.

Nick Folk hurt his quad yesterday before the Jaguars win, leaving many fantasy owners scrambling for a kicker.
There’s been no update on Folk’s status since yesterday, but this leaves the Jets in a bind on a short week. Plan on adding another kicker if you’ve been using Folk.

Roethlisberger wasn’t the only casualty of the Steelers-Raiders matchup yesterday. Latavius Murray suffered a potential concussion on a weird play, putting his Week 10 status in question.
Without Murray, the Raiders would go to Marcel Reece and Taiwan Jones. We’ll have to keep an eye on this one.
