Fantasy Football 2015: Week 11 Waiver Wire Update
Taking a Look at the Week 11 Waiver Wire Trends
November 17, 2015
It’s Tuesday in the aftermath of fantasy football Week 10, and that means it’s time to check out the waiver wire as we prepare for Week 11. We’ve got some byes and injury situations to deal with in this upcoming round, so let’s visit some of the trending players to see who might make a good add for your team this week.
Danny Amendola, WR, New England Patriots: In the wake of Julian Edelman’s injury, most fantasy owners are looking toward Amendola, who is coming off 10 catches and 79 yards in Week 10.
Amendola will probably see a few more balls come his way now that Edelman is sidelined for a while. He gets an okay matchup against the Bills this week at Gillette Stadium, where the Pats are near invincible.

Kansas City Chiefs Defense: A lot of it had to do with Peyton Manning’s health, but the Chiefs defense cleaned up in Week 10. They snagged five picks and five sacks while allowing just 13 points in a win over the Broncos.
The Chiefs have now scored double-digit fantasy points on defense in four of the last five games. They’ve also allowed no more than 13 points in any of their last three appearances. They’re the stringers’ choice heading into San Diego this week.
Doug Baldwin, WR, Seattle Seahawks: Back to the WR position for a moment; let’s talk about Baldwin. He was targeted 10 times in the Arizona loss Week 10, posting seven catches for 134 yards and a touchdown.
It was by far Baldwin’s best performance of the year, and he’ll see a crummy 49ers team this week at home. That said, the Seahawks don’t throw the ball much unless they’re in comeback mode.
Brock Osweiler, QB, Denver Broncos: The aforementioned Peyton Manning has a torn plantar fascia in his right foot, which is an extremely painful injury to deal with. He’s already been ruled out this weekend, so then it’s Osweiler time in Denver.
Osweiler logged a 14-of-24 line after replacing Manning, throwing one TD and one pick. Since Manning can’t go, he’ll be the man in Chicago Week 11, and an option for those fantasy owners desperate for a QB.
Andre Ellington, RB, Arizona Cardinals: Ellington is a trendy pickup in the RB circuit this week, following 61 yards and a score on the ground against the Seahawks.
Though Ellington remains behind Chris Johnson on the depth chart, he’s still making a mark as a third-down back with good hands and explosive capabilities. He’s right around the RB3/flex mark if you’re down that low, but a big play or two could pay off this week against the Bengals.
