It’s a fantasy football Wednesday, and we hope your team is looking good heading into Week 12. Let’s take a moment to look at our weekly matchup picks, as we’ve got a stuffed NFL schedule coming up over the next few days. Here are a few notable waiver wire players who have favorable matchups in their games.

Javorius Allen, RB, Baltimore Ravens: Allen should be high on your pickup list, as he’s going into a nice matchup against the Browns this week. He’s taking over for an injured Justin Forsett, who’s out for the rest of the year with a broken arm.
The Ravens have been decimated by injury this year, and fantasy owners are looking to some no-name guys to squeeze out the points. Allen should get a heavy load in Week 12 for an offense hurting for stars.

Fantasy Football 2015: Week 12 Key Matchups

Brian Hoyer, QB, Houston Texans: Hoyer has passed the NFL’s concussion protocol and will be starting at home against New Orleans in Week 12.
Hoyer has put up some pretty good numbers throughout most of the year, including a five-game stretch in which he scored no fewer than 17.28 fantasy points per game. Even better, he’s got the cupcake Saints defense on the schedule this week.

James White, RB, New England Patriots: White had a breakout game in Week 11 against Buffalo, posting a pair of touchdowns--his first as a pro.
White will now become the Pats’ preferred third-down back and should get a healthy amount of touches from game to game. He’s a must-add guy, even though the Broncos matchup this week is just okay.

Alfred Blue, RB, Houston Texans: Let’s go RB one more time (and pick on the Saints one more time) and check out Blue. He put up 15.2 fantasy points against the Jets, rushing 21 times for 58 yards and posting a receiving touchdown.
Blue is more of a flex guy than an RB2 consideration, but the matchup here is too good to pass up. He’s definitely a starter against the sloppy Saints front.

Jameis Winston, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Don’t look now, but Winston is starting to pay off on his lofty NFL draft status this year. He threw a whopping five touchdowns in Philly Week 11, and has provided at least 18.28 fantasy points in four of the last five weeks.
Winston hasn’t really had a bad game this season, and he’s still available in most leagues. He’ll have a nice matchup against the Colts, who are giving up the ninth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks so far this year.
