Fantasy Football Update 10/17/16: Week 7 Waiver Wire Picks
Fantasy Football Sleepers and Waiver Wire Picks for Week 7
October 17, 2016
The NFL’s Week 6 isn’t officially in the books just yet, but it’s never too early for us owners to start looking ahead to Week 7 on the fantasy football waiver wire. Let’s check out a few of the hot names you should be focusing those claims on this week.
Kenny Britt, WR, Los Angeles Rams: Britt is only owned in about 10 percent of leagues out there, but he leads the Rams in receiving. He had his best day yet on Sunday with seven receptions for 136 yards and two TDs.

That gives Britt 30 receptions for 492 yards on the year, which puts him on pace for 1,312 yards. He’s probably a guy you want to have ahead of the Giants game in Week 7.
Jay Ajayi, RB, Miami Dolphins: We’ve talked about Ajayi a few times this year, and now he’s had two straight solid weeks. On Sunday, he torched the Steelers for 25 rushes, 204 yards and two touchdowns.
That gives Ajayi four touchdowns in four weeks, and just under 43 fantasy points over his last two outings. He’ll get Buffalo this week before the bye.
Hunter Henry, TE, San Diego Chargers: Henry has been the model of consistency over the past three weeks. He’s coming off six receptions for 83 yards and a TD this week, which gives him three straight scores and at least 12.1 fantasy points in his last trio of outings.
Henry will get the Falcons in Week 7, and he’s looking like a great pickup ahead of that game. He’s possibly on the TE1 radar by now.
Cameron Meredith, WR, Chicago Bears: Meredith continued his high involvement in the Bears offense on Sunday, bagging 11 catches on 15 targets for 113 yards against the Jaguars.
That gives Meredith an awesome 27 targets and 243 yards on 20 catches with a TD in the last two weeks combined. If you need WR help, he’s definitely a guy you want to throw your waiver claim on.
Marcus Mariota, QB, Tennessee Titans: Are you in the dumps about the Roethlisberger injury? Never fear, Mariota is here to save you, coming off a 17-of-24 outing Sunday against Cleveland for 284 yards and three touchdowns.
That gives Mariota six touchdowns in two weeks, and 10 on the season. He’ll get a nice matchup against the Colts in Week 7.
