Fantasy Football Update 11/17/16: Week 11 Waiver Wire Picks
Fantasy Football Sleepers and Waiver Wire Picks for Week 11
November 17, 2016
Today marks the beginning of the NFL’s Week 11, so it’s time to get those fantasy football lineups finalized. Let’s visit the waiver wire once more before the games get started so we can see who might make a good add this week.
Miami Dolphins Defense: We’ve talked about Miami’s defense a little bit this week already, and they’re still the hottest add in fantasy right now.

After scoring 13 points in Week 1, the ‘Phins defense put up six weeks of single-digit scoring. That’s changed in the last two weeks, however, as Miami has 30 total points in that span. Even better, they’re playing the lowly Rams offense this week.
CJ Prosise, RB, Seattle Seahawks: Prosise is a hot add this week as well, as he’s coming off a nice outing against New England. In that one, he put up 17 carries, 66 yards and 15.3 fantasy points.
Sources close to the Seahawks are speculating that Prosise will once again have a big role this week against Philadelphia. That said, he’ll also have a little bit of competition in the backfield from Thomas Rawls, so keep that in mind.
New York Giants Defense: Let’s go defense one more time today and check out the Giants. The squad has been pretty mediocre lately, but they did put up 21 points against the Rams.
New York has eight and six points respectively in the last two weeks, but they’ve got a nice matchup on Sunday. The Giants will welcome in the Bears, who have given up the seventh-most fantasy points this year to opposing defenses.
Christine Michael, RB, Green Bay Packers: Michael is trending this week as a fantasy add, so let’s examine his situation. He’s just joined the Packers, who put in a waiver claim for him after the Seahawks cut ties.
Realistically, Michael likely won’t see many—if any—carries this weekend against the Redskins, after just a week of practice. Still, if you’re in a deep league and running-back-needy, he’s not a bad grab-and-stash.
Tyreek Hill, WR, Kansas City Chiefs: Hill is a relative newcomer to the waiver wire, but he’s been playing well over the last month. He’s coming off 10.1 points against Carolina, and has scored at least that many in three of the last four weeks.
Hill gets a choice matchup this weekend against the Buccaneers secondary, who is giving up the second-most fantasy points to wide receivers. He’s the guy to have on the wire if you’re looking at WR.
