Fantasy Football Update 11/22/16: Week 12 Sleeper Picks
Fantasy Football Sleepers, Matchup Plays and Waiver Wire Picks for Week 12
November 22, 2016
Week 12 in the NFL will be quite a crunch, as we’ve got three Thanksgiving games to kick things off. That means we’ve got to pay extra close attention to our fantasy football lineups as well, so with that in mind let’s check out some of the notable players being added as sleepers and waiver wire pickups.
Eddie Royal, WR, Chicago Bears: Royal is a popular waiver wire pickup this week, as he’s sure to be getting some extra looks against Tennessee on Sunday with Alshon Jeffery gone and Zach Miller banged up.

Royal had a bad outing with three targets and two receptions in his last game, but some are speculating that his role will increase with Matt Barkley under center. The Titans are a nice matchup, as well.
New York Giants Defense: Time to play the “who’s playing Cleveland this week?” game if you’re stringing defenses. That honor goes to the Giants, who have posted at least six points in each of their last four games.
The Giants have only hit double digits in fantasy points twice this year, but anything goes when you’re playing against Cleveland. New York is still available in over half the leagues out there, too.
Tyler Boyd, WR, Cincinnati Bengals: Boyd is a popular pickup this week as well, thanks to injuries this past Sunday to AJ Green and Giovani Bernard. With the extra workload, he put up eight targets, six catches, 54 yards and a TD against Buffalo.
Cincinnati is in real trouble with those two key injuries, but it’s good news for Boyd owners. He’ll get Baltimore this week, who has given up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing WRs.
New Orleans Saints Defense: Let’s go defense one more time and check out New Orleans. They’re coming off just two points in the Carolina game, but prior to that had put up 19 points in two weeks.
The Saints get a favorable matchup this week against the Rams. L.A. has given up the third-most fantasy points to opposing defenses, so even the Saints have a nice shot at solid points here.
CJ Fiedorowicz, TE, Houston Texans: Fiedorowicz is a guy on the upswing, as he’s got at least six targets in five of his last six games. He turned that into 10 targets, six catches and 82 yards in Oakland on Sunday.
Fiedorowicz has turned himself into a nice check-down and underneath receiver, and it’s paying dividends in fantasy. He’ll get the Chargers this week.
