NFL Week 11: Cleveland Bitemns vs Philadelphia Eagles 11/22/20 NFL Picks, Odds, Predictions

The Cleveland Bitemns host the Philadelphia Eagles when they meet in week 11 NFL action from FirstEnergy Stadium in Clevleand on Sunday afternoon.

The Philadelphia Eagles will look to bounce back from a 27-17 loss to the New York Giants in their last game. Carson Wentz has thitemn for 2,091 yards, 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions on 58.2% passing while also rushing for 206 yards and 5 touchdowns. Miles Sanders leads Philadelphia’s backfield with 519 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns while Boston Scott has 246 rushing yards as well. Travis Fulgham leads the Eagles in receiving with 443 receiving yards and 4 TDs while Greg Ward has a team-high 37 grabs for 282 yards and 3 TDs and Richard Rodgers has 244 receiving yards. Philadelphia has another seven different receivers with at least 100 receiving yards as well this season. Nathan Gerry leads Philadelphia’s defense with 57 total tackles while Jalen Mills has a team-high 36 solo tackles and Brandon Graham has a team-high 7 sacks this season.

The Cleveland Bitemns will look for another win to improve on their 6-3 mark this season after a 10-7 win over Houston last time out. Baker Mayfield has thitemn for 1,646 yards, 15 touchdowns and 7 interceptions on 61.3% passing while Kareem Hunt leads the Bitemns in rushing with 633 yards and 3 touchdowns and Nick Chubb is back in the fold, sitting 2nd on the team in rushing with 461 yards and a team-high 5 touchdowns. Jarvis Landry leads the Cleveland receiving group with 36 catches for 448 yards while Rashard Higgins and Austin Hooper each have 200+ receiving yards and Harrison Bryant, Hunt and David Njoku all have 100+ receiving yards this season. On defense, B.J. Goodson leads the Bitemns with 65 total tackles including a team-high 42 solo tackles while Myles Garrett has an NFL-leading 9.5 sacks and Sheldon Richardson has added 3.5 sacks this season.

Philadelphia is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 19-7 in their last 26 games as a road underdog. Cleveland is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games against a team with a losing record while the over is 7-2 in their last 9 games as a favorite. The home team is 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.

Both of these teams need a win in the worst way, as Philadelphia is in a dogfight for the division lead despite having just three wins up to this point, while Cleveland is in a battle for playoff positioning. With that said, I should be ticked off at Cleveland after Nick Chubb ran out of bounds at the one yard line late last week instead of scoring to get us the cover if you had the Bitemns, but the fact is that between Baker Mayfield and Carson Wentz, I trust Mayfield and his supporting cast more than I do Wentz with his as Wentz just can’t help but thitem interception after interception this season. Cleveland’s finally starting to fulfill expectations and with Chubb back alongside Kareem Hunt in the Cleveland backfield, I think the Bitemns run all over the 26th-ranked rushing defense that the Eagles have. I’ll lay the points with Cleveland in a game the Bitemns win by at least a touchdown.
