A meathead is a moron like Ryan Leaf and other LOSERS - NOT guys who made millions because they were great players.
leaf is the biggest meathead EVER in the NFL (ofcourse, he came from arguably the worst college in the Western States and was already known by everyone but the Chargers as being a MEATHEAD who was out of control in college and had ONE good year.
THIS is a 'MEATHEAD' - NOT GRONKOWSKI AND THE OTHERS ON THIS LIST...

A lot of issues with this article. EVERY unit on thus team needed more talent, it's impossible to upgrade them all in one offseason, and last year proved that quick-fix attempts don't work.

Bradley has stated repeatedly that he needs physical (not just tall) corners to play aggressive D. And we released just about every CB from last year so the draft strategy was necessary. Anyone who has watched the Jags knows our secondary gets shredded every year. And after FA & UDFA we have more depth than we've had in years, and finally speed on offense. And Bradley expects Branch to compete with Babin at the LEO and Alualu to finally break out at his more natural DE position where he excelled in college.

Lastly, RT had beeour Achilles heel for years so Joeckel was a must. Obviously this draft didn't have any franchise QBs worth drafting in Round 1, so I think the team will be in much better shape to draft one next year.

There are more than a few fans that enjoy the fact that we are not watching the pole sitter lead a race from start to finish. Watch the start and know the winner. No longer. Tires are what F1 asked for. I would not watch, buy tickets or products to wear to the race without the current racing. I would still be watching NASCAR, racing is why I now love F1.

Yeah Doug, that makes a ton of sense. THe Raiders have been God awful at QB for a LONG time and Barkely has a solid chance to be a star. Milner and his five surgeries sounds like a great pick if you want a guy to eat up your cap space that is on the IR 50%+ of his season.

Hi Damien, I'm curious why you'd want to see E.J Manuel? He's a phenomenal athlete but the Giants have Eli for a long time, do you think he could be coverted to something else like maybe a receiver?

Hi Doug.I agree he isn't the player they should pick with their first pick or anything like that, but I do think he is the most important player for them to pick in the draft. Unless you believe Matt Flynn is truly going to be the Raiders QB of the future which is also possible. For the value they can get Barkley at, I think he would be the best overall addition to their team

Obviously this article needs a new title. I'm not saying Matt Barkley won't be a good NFL player (I am thinking it, however), but he certainly is not the TOP PROSPECT the Raiders should consider. Without a 2nd Rounder, only Milner, and maybe Franklin, seem like realistic options for Oakland.

I agree completely and that is the gist of my article.  I just meant that in general, it is ok to stand up for a player.  Obviously, in this case, Alford went WAY beyond simply standing up for Pierce.  His actions DID in fact serve to try and make a liar out of the victim.  Alford is scum and I am alarmed that the national media seems to have forgotten about or has chosen to ignore his actions in the Pierre Pierce case.

They had a judge that doesn't know shit about boxing what fight was she watching? I don't think she was even watching the fight, just giving the points to Bradley for the win.......that's just my opinion.
