Very shoddy journalism. The opening line, completely without citation, indicates that you have clearly not seen the team play this season -a must if you are to comment on them. The rest of the dribble you've written is merely taken from observing the team's results.

Don't give up the day job!

I think as long as Martinez remains, then Wigan will continue to decline. He is a weak Manager and finds it impossible to stand up to The Chairman. This squad needed some serious investment before NZogbia left. The club stayed up last year by the skin of its teeth. When a 9 goal a year man left it was obvious to intelligent fans that these goals needed to be replaced. They were not and so here we are.

It's an interesting concept, watching matches. As far as citations go, the article is a mere overview based on personal opinion. You're welcome to disagree but you must remember we approach these articles from a betting perspective and form is key. Our records speak for themselves. I've personally seen all I've needed to see; at least they'll be off the radar come the end of the season, and I'll no longer have to be subjected to such mediocrity. As a Leeds fan, I've seen my fair share.

With regards to Martinez, the situation mirrors that at Blackburn. Both sides are in steep decline, and you have to wonder whether a change in management will make much of a difference to either long term. It's a merry-go-round, and Martinez didn't become a bad manager overnight. Replacing him with some journeyman may provide a bounce, but I can't see Wigan escaping the bottom three when all is said and done. By the time the transfer window comes around, it may already be too late.
