The World T20 has reached the semi-final stage and after a Virat Kohli special against Australia, India will now play the red hot West Indes in a game which will determine one of the finalists for this tournament. A lot of hopes and dreams will be on the line in Mumbai and a sellout crowd is expected for what should be a great match.
This match is played on a ground that is known for its high scores and as a result it is important that India’s top order gets back in some sort of form. Virat Kohli has single handedly scoring for the host nation this tournament and it is time that the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shikar Dhawan and Suresh Raina start scoring. This will be an important aspect of this game since Kohli, as good as he is, will eventually fail in an inning as well. As far as bowling is concerned, it is looking settles and I think Dhoni likes how his attack is performing. As far as injuries are concerned, Yuvraj has an ankle issue and if he is not fit in time either Rahane or Panday will take his place.
West Indes on the other hand will hope that their big hitter match winners can do the job for them. Chris Gayle has been in some pretty good form and him along with the rest of the players will hope they can score some big runs. This team has clicked quite well and the bowling has impressed this tournament in my opinion. This is a well settled unit and although it looks like Fletcher will miss the rest of the tournament due to injury, his replacement, Lendl Simmons is more that capable of doing a job.
Overall I expect a high scoring trilled but have to back the home team to get over the line. They have a bit of momentum and I think the crowd will do wonders for the. This should be a high scoring stunner and I am looking forward to a good game come Thursday.
