The beaten-up Milwaukee Brewers and San Francisco Giants found their offense late Monday. Both teams hope the bats are there from the start Tuesday.
As it was SF won 4-2 although Milwaukee's Juan Francisco went yard off of Sergio Romo (27 Saves, 3.02 ERA) during the top of the ninth. The Giants got on the scoreboard first via Gregor Blanco's fielder's choice during the bottom of the fourth. Francisco's RBI-double during the seventh evened things at one. San Francisco reclaimed the advantage a frame later thanks to Jeff Francoeur's RBI-single. Brewers' third baseman Jeff Bianci's error allowed the Giants to score another during the bottom of the eighth.

Milwaukee turns to Wily Peralta (7-11, 4.57 ERA) on Tuesday. Pralta dropped his last two outings at the Chicago Cubs and Colorado Rockies conceding 12 runs, eight earned, during 8.2 innings. Peralta began the year 2-3 on the road also tripping up at the Cincinnati Reds twice and St. Louis Cardinals surrendering 16 runs, 13 earned, during 16.1 frames.
In Peralta's away victories the Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies motored in five runs during 13 innings. SF smoked in six runs, five earned, off of seven hits April 16 during four frames versus Peralta in a 10-8 Brewers win. Against Peralta altogether the Giants are 9-of-21 with five RBIs, three alone from Pablo Sandoval.
Matt Cain (7-6, 4.57 ERA) comes back for San Francisco eyeing his third straight one-run appearance. The last at AT&T Park however didn't end how the Giants would have hoped losing 3-2 to Chicago who could only cash in a run during seven innings versus Cain. SF is 6-6 at AT&T this season when Cain pushes off the bump.
Cain is 4-4 at AT&T Park with three of his victories coming in May yielding five runs during 20.1 frames. In Cain home defeats LA, the Miami Marlins, New York Mets and St. L knocked in 23 runs during 12.2 innings. As well at Milwaukee April 18 the Brewers buried Cain 7-2 for seven runs during six frames. Milwaukee is 39-of-134 with 22 RBIs, six from suspended Ryan Braun and five from Rickie Weeks, against Cain. The Giants are going to batter the Brewers good.
