The Houston Astros try to surprise the Texas Rangers in Arlington Monday after taking two of three games at the Los Angeles Angels.
Houston booted LA 7-5 in the finale. After blowing a 3-0 lead the Astros jumped ahead 7-3 largely due to a three-run seventh inning. Houston scored four of their runs on L.J. Hoes' and Matt Dominguez's home runs. Two of the Astros' three other runs came on outs. Brett Oberholtzer (3-1, 2.91 ERA) was great yielding three runs during six frames to get the win.

Elsewhere Sunday Texas stumbled for the second time in three games to the Seattle Mariners 4-3. The Rangers never led, but did have an answer to all of Seattle's runs during the home-half until the ninth inning. Mitch Moreland's sacrifice fly, Adrian Beltre's RBI-single and Elvis Andrus' RBI-double drove in Texas' three runs.
The Rangers turn to Matt Garza (2-1, 3.86 ERA) to rescue them on Monday. Texas is 4-1 when Garza goes including 3-0 at home. Garza however does have two no-decisions at Rangers Ballpark surrendering seven runs during 12.2 frames.
In Garza'z one home victory with Texas he beat the New York Yankees conceding one unearned run during 7.1 innings. At Houston Aug. 9 Garza won 9-5 due to allowing four runs during seven frames. The Astros are 16-of-74 with nine RBIs, five of them Jason Castro's, versus Garza.
Houston comes back with Lucas Harrell (6-13, 5.16 ERA). The Astros are 3-11 in Harrell's away appearances. Harrell's given up 23 runs, 21 earned, during 24.2 innings in road defeats. Harrell has won at the Colorado Rockies, NYY and Oakland Athletics by surrendering six runs, five earned, during 13 frames.
This year the Rangers have beaten Harrell 7-0 and 10-5 by driving in 10 runs, eight earned, during 9.2 innings. One of those games Texas only scored once during six frames. The Rangers are 26-of-88 with 21 RBIs, seven Nelson Cruz's, against Harrell. Houston is going to get annihilated hence the delay on the odds.
