The Chicago White Sox have had a rough year and they came up short once again on Friday in Boston. Avisail Garcia had two hits, including a home run, Dayan Viciedo had two hits, and Paul Konerko had a hit as the White Sox scored three runs on six hits. Starting pitcher Hector Santiago allowed five hits and four runs, while striking out three over 3.2 innings to take the loss and fall to 4-8 on the season. Boston is 5-1 in their last six games, 24-10 in their last 34 home games, and 2-5 in their last seven games against the AL Central. Chicago is 6-1 in their last seven road games, 10-3 in their last 13 games overall, and 2-6 in Danks’ last eight starts. Chicago is 8-4 in their last 12 games in Boston.
We are getting a big price on Chicago as they have been playing well of late and they have a good book on Peavy. They are well worth taking a shot on here.
