The Chicago Cubs and the Philadelphia Phillies meet on Saturday for game two of their series at Wrigley Field.
The Chicago Cubs appeared headed for victory on Friday in game one of their series against the Phillies, but Philadelphia had other plans and they dumped the Cubbies. Anthony Rizzo and Nate Schierholtz both hit home runs and Starlin Castro and Dioner Navarro each had two hits as the Cubs scored five runs on 10 hits. Starting pitcher Jeff Samardzjia allowed eight hits and five runs, while striking out six over 6.2 innings to not factor in the decision and Kevin Gregg took the loss to fall to 2-4 on the season. For Saturday’s game, the Cubs start Christopher Rusin, who has lost three of his last four decisions. For the season, Rusin has allowed 41 hits and 13 earned runs, while striking out 26 over 44.1 innings for a 2-3 record and a 2.64 ERA.

This game should belong to the defense and pitching and my free pick is the under. My stronger play is on the winning side and I will give that winning pick out in the Premium Area.
