The New York Yankees and Toronto Bluejays will meet Sunday in the rubber game. The Bluejays tied the series up on Saturday with a 4-0 victory.
The Yankees lineup went absolutely cold, producing seven hits but leaving 10 guys on base. The loss was the Yankees third game already where they scored two or fewer runs. The Yankees pitching, however, has been fairly decent, and C.C. Sabathia will get the nod on Sunday. Sabathia allowed six runs in his opening day start against the Houston Astros. This may be the game Sabathia bounces back, as he’s 14-4 with a 3.00 ERA in his career against the Bluejays.

The Bluejays snapped a two-game losing streak and it was their pitching for once that got the job done. R.A. Dickey allowed just five hits and zero runs in 6.2 innings, while striking out six batters. Drew Hutchinson hopes to match that effort on Sunday as he makes his second start of the year and just his 13th career start. Hutchinson gave up three hits and no runs in his first start this season. Hutchinson is 1-0 with an ERA of 1.50 in his only career start against the New York Yankees.
The Yankees are 0-4 in Sabathias last 4 road starts and 44-18 in Sabathias last 62 starts vs. a team with a losing record. The Blue Jays are 5-0 in Hutchisons last 5 home starts and 1-5 in their last 6 games vs. a left-handed starter. The Yankees are 7-2 in Sabathias last 9 starts vs. Blue Jays and 36-17 in the last 53 meetings.
Although Hutchinson has been terrific at home and looked sharp in his first start of the year, I don't see the Yankees bats going silent once again. I also think Sabathia is going to bounce back in a big way. Give me the Yankees at the cheap price.
