As a team the Pirates are hitting .221 with Andrew McCutchen hitting .286, Neil Walker hitting .235, and Starling Marte hitting .229. For Thursday’s game one the Pirates start Charlie Morton who has lost his last three starts. For the season Morton has allowed 30 hits and 15 earned runs while striking out 21 over 31 innings for a 0-3 record and a 4.35 ERA.
