The Cleveland Indians host the Chicago White Sox in Sunday's finale' at Progressive Field.
The White Sox were one of the surprise teams in the early going but they have to get back on track soon before all their hard work is erased. Chicago has dropped four in a row following a 2-0 defeat at Cleveland on Saturday. Unfortunately the offense and defense failed Scott Carroll who was charged with a pair of unearned runs over six innings. The bats were silent with just five hits and a base on balls to lean on with Adam Dunn logging a pair of hits. The White Sox hand the ball to Andre Rienzo for Sunday's start at Progressive Field. Rienzo is coming in off of a 7-3 victory in which he gave up all three runs (two earned) on five hits and three BB in six frames.

After a suffering through a six game slide that has them sitting last in the American League Central the Indians are trying to dig their way out of their struggles with consecutive victories following a 2-0 decision over the rival White Sox on Saturday. Scoring has been an issue in this stetch but the pitching hasn't helped either but it was front page news Saturday with Justin Masterson coming up with a four hit shutout over 7.1 innings to even his record at 1-1. The bats mustered only five hits but didn't need much with Nick Swisher driving in his 12 run of the season. Corey Kluber toes the rubber in the final game of the series with visiting Chicago. Kluber struggled his last time out in a 6-4 road loss to the Angels where he gave up four runs (three earned) on eight hits and four walks in 4.2 innings.
Both teams need this win or risk falling further behind Detroit who is playing lights out. I'm looking at Kluber who has beaten the White Sox but a lack of scoring punch is scary especially at this price...
