The San Diego Padres Battled for the full nine innings on Tuesday and walked away with the win. Chase Headley hit the game winning home run and Seth Smith had two hits as the Padres scored two runs on three hits. Cincinnati is 5-2 against the NL West, 0-5 in game two of a series, and 21-7 in Cueto’s last 28 home starts. San Diego is 5-2 in their last seven road games with the total set at 7.5 or lower, 1-4 in game two of a series, and 1-4 in Kennedy’s last five starts with five days of rest. San Diego is 2-5 in their last seven games in Cincinnati.

Cueto just isn’t a pitcher you want to be on the other side of and I won’t be in this spot.
