The Houston Astros and Seattle Mariners will wrap up a four-game series on Sunday afternoon at Safeco Field.
The Astros snapped a four-game losing streak with a win on Saturday, but are still 14 games below a .500 record and have the worst record in all of baseball. The Astros are ranked 27th in runs scored and 28th in ERA. The Astros are 8-26 this season when allowing more than three runs, which has become the norm lately. Offensively, George Springer has three homers and six RBI in his last two games, while Jose Altuve has seven hits in this series. Getting the ball will be Dallas Keuchel, who is 5-2 with a 2.92 ERA and has 55 strikeouts in 61.2 innings. Keuchel is 1-3 with a 3.33 ERA in four career starts against the Mariners.

The Mariners fall back to a .500 record with Saturday’s loss, but have still won four of their last six games. The good news for the Mariners is that their offense has picked up a bit, scoring four or more runs in five of their last eight games. Kyle Seager has four RBI in this series and Robinson Cano has 17 hits in his last 10 games. The Mariners ERA is good for eighth best in baseball. Getting the nod is Hisashi Iwakuma, who is 3-0 with a 1.76 ERA and has 18 strikeouts in 30.2 innings. Iwakuma is 3-1 with a 2.20 ERA in four career starts against the Astros.
The Astros are 4-0 in Keuchel's last 4 road starts and 3-13 in Keuchel's last 16 starts with 5 days of rest. The Mariners are 10-4 in Iwakuma's last 14 starts as a home favorite and 18-8 in Iwakuma's last 26 home starts.
I don't see much value in this game at all, but if you're able to get the Mariners at a line of -150 or less, I say jump on it. The Astros will struggle to hit Iwakuma, and the Mariners bats should wake up in this game. Mariners should win easily, just make sure you get them at an OK price.
