The Minnesota Twins and the Texas Rangers face of on Monday at Target Field for game one of their series.

Minnesota Twins vs. Texas Rangers MLB Pick, Odds, Prediction 5/26/14

USA TODAY Sports

The Texas Rangers have suffered a few setbacks this season but they enter this series with a .500 record. The Rangers are 12-12 on the road, 5-5 in their last 10 games, and they have won their last two games. As a team the Rangers are hitting .264 with Alex Rios hitting .316, Shin-Soo Choo hitting .310, and Leonys Martin hitting .277. The Texas pitching staff has an ERA of 4.37 with the starters at 4.45 and the bullpen at 4.24. For game one at Minnesota the Rangers start Nick Tepesch who bet Seattle in his last start. For the season Tepesch has allowed seven hits and four earned runs while striking out 12 over 11.2 innings for a 1-0 record and a 3.09 ERA.

Minnesota is 5-1 in game one of a series, 6-2 in their last eight home games, and 2-9 in Correia’s last 11 home starts. Texas is 5-1 in their last six games, 6-2 against the AL Central, and 5-2 in Tepesch’s last seven starts. Texas is 1-4 in their last five games against Minnesota.

The total in this one is set at nine but we have two teams who can swing the bat and I like the over. My stronger play is on the winning side and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
