The Seattle Mariners moved to over .500 for the season as they got the win o Tuesday in Atlanta. For the season Iwakuma has allowed 37 hits and 15 eanred runs while striking out 29 over 43.2 innings for a 3-2 record and a 3.09 ERA.
Atlanta is 4-1 against the AL West, 9-5 in their last 14 games as a home favorite, and 3-9 in Monir’s last 12 starts. Seattle is 8-1 on the road against a team with a winning record, 2-5 in game two of a series, and 5-2 in Iwakuma’s last seven road starts. Seattle is 1-5 in the last six meetings of these two.
This game looks like a toss up and a quick mover and I expect whichever team can get any offense here will take it but with that being said I like the odds here we are getting with Seattle and Iwakuma.
