The Houston Astros and the Seattle Mariners face off on Wednesday at Minute Maid Park for game three of their AL West series.

The Houston Astros were simply over matched on Tuesday as they were crushed by the Mariners. Jose Altuve, Enrique Hernandez, and Alex Pressley each had two hits as the Astros scored two runs on 11 hits. Starting pitcher Jared Cosart had a bad night as he allowed nine hits and six runs while striking out three over 5.2 innings to take the loss and fall to 8-6 for the season. For Wednesday’s game the Astros start Brad Peacock ho has had no decisions in the four of his last five starts. For the season Peacock has allowed 70 hits and 34 earned runs while striking out 63 over 72.2 innings for a 2-4 record and a 4.21 ERA.

Runs are going to be tough to come by here and my free pick is on the under. My stronger play is on the winning side and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
