The Chicago White Sox look for back to back wins versus the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park on Tuesday.
The White Sox have not been playing badly as they try to close in on the .500 mark and hopefully move ahead to make themselves a factor in the American League Central. Chicago took another step in the right direction following a 4-0 victory at Boston. Scott Carroll was at his best with a one hit shutout over 6.2 frames to improve to 3-5. The White Sox offense receved a long ball and three RBI's from Dayan Viciedo while Adam Funn connected on a solo shot. Lefty John Danks will be on the hill to face the struggling Red Sox on Tuesday night. Danks looks to duplicate his last two outings where he gave up two runs in each over 13 innings of work.

The Red Sox have much the same squad that won the American League East a season ago but obviously things aren't playing out in their favor in 2014 which probably has the baseball world scratching their heads. The head scratching continued after Monday's defeat with Clay Buchholz allowing all four runs on five hits including a pair of long balls through seven innings of work. The Red Sox attack never threatened with only a pair of hits and a trio of bases on balls to lean on. Brandon Workman gets the start Tuesday versus the visiting White Sox looking to rebound from consecutive poor outings. Workman was charged with a combined ten runs through eleven innings.
The Red Sox certainly can win this but my thinking is Danks is capable and there is no way I'd lay the chalk with struggling team...
