The San Francisco Giants make the long trip to South Florida to take the field with the Miami Marlins.
San Francisco opened 2014 on fire and were the best team in baseball early on. However, they inevitably cooled and to the surprise of many never heatedd back up. When the Giants were winning both the arms and the bats were on the same page more often then not and even when they weren't either unit was still capable of winning on their own. That hasn't been the case for quite a while as both the pitching and hitting has to show to win and neither has been as strong lately which is why the Dodgers have taken over first in the National League West. Lefty Madison Bumgarner is scheduled to be on the mound to face the Marlins on Friday. Bumgarner has really been struggling over his last four where he has alllowed 19 runs on 35 hits in 24.1 frames.

Eovaldi entered the All Star break riding consecutive quality starts where he has allowed four runs over 13 innings.
Neither team makes me excited in anything they have done recently and to be honest I don't know what to expect here. Both hurlers have struggled in this match up so perhaps the over...
