The Los Angeles Dodgers hope to close out their series with the San Diego Padres with a win at home.
The San Diego Padres appear as if reaching .500 is not in the Cards with the current losing streak being the final nail in the coffin. A six game slide going in to Tuesday was snapped with a 6-3 victory over the Dodgers. Andrew Cashner came up big on the bump with two runs plated over seven frames to get the win. Cashner had a little pop in his bat as well with a pair of RBI's while Jedd Gyorko homered and drove in two more. Ian Kennedy will be on the hill in the final game of the series with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Kennedy was hit hard in a 5-1 loss to the Diamondbacks with four runs plated on ten hits over 5.1 frames.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been winning and need to continue to do so and hope San Francisco can't keep. The Dodgers were doing their part with four straight victories before falling short Tuesday which really hurt with San Francisco winning. Roberto Hernandez struggled early and was gone by the third inning after being charged with five runs (two earned). Los Angeles struggled to score despite posting eleven hits with Adrian Gonzalez leaving the yard and driving in two. Dan Haren gets the call to the mound to face the San Diego Padres for the 5th time on the year. Haren has thrown the ball well his last three times out with two runs allowed in 19 innings.
Everytime I get involved with Ian Kennedy it's an adventure whether I'm with him or against him. I expect nothing to change here and I'll likely sit this out...
