The Los Angeles Dodgers look to hold off the San Francisco Giants in game two of their series Tuesday.
The San Francisco Giants are at the point where they win and stay in the NL West race or lose and try to snare a Wild Card. The Giants also have to be aware that the Wild Card and home field advantage are up for grabs as well so there are a few things in play here. The problem with the waay the Giants are playing is the offense hasn't been consistent and the pitching has just been okay which makes playing catch up in th NL West race even more difficult. A red hot Madison Bumgarner is charged with keeping the Giants alive in the West race when he faces the Los Angeles Dodgers. Bumgarner is 18-9 on the season with a 2.91 ERA in 32 outings.

The Los Angeles Dodgers can close out the rival San Francisco Giants with a strong series or things will tighten up if they don't play well. The Dodgers are playing better then San Francisco and have built themselves a lead in the National League West standings so the pressure is on the Giants. The Dodgers biggest concern with the postseason a week away is maintaining an offense that can consistently score which has happened the past few weeks. Having said that, Los Angeles has struggled at the plate enough to be a concern although their pitching is strong enough to win on their own merits. Zack Greinke toes the rubber in Tuesday's game two start versus the San Francisco Giants. Greinke has faced the Giants four times with a pair of shutouts and four runs allowed overall.
Bumgarner is the Giants best and Greinke has been dominant in this match up. Right now I'll go with the better odds but I don't see this as a great betting opportunity...
