The Seattle Mariners simply had no answers on offense or defense losing a one sided game in Oakland on Friday. Austin Jackson had two hits and Kyle Seager had a hit as the Mariners were shut out on three hits. Starting pitcher Taijuan Walker allowed nine hits and nine runs striking out three over 3.1 innings to take the loss. For Saturday’s game the Mariners start J.A. Happ who was 11-11 with a 4.22 ERA striking out 133 over 158 innings.
Oakland is 1-4 in game two of a series, 2-6 against a left-handed starter, and 4-9 in Gray’s last 13 starts. Seattle is 2-5 in game two of a series, 1-4 as a road underdog, and 1-6 in their last seven road games. Seattle is 5-3 in their last eight games in Oakland.
I expect this one to stay under the total which is set at seven as this one belongs to the pitchers. My stronger play is on the winning side and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as the App and as always my Premium Picks are available individually at Picks and Parlays.
