The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Seattle Mariners face off on Tuesday at Dodger Stadium for game two of their interleague series.

The Los Angeles Dodgers never quit on Monday and rallied for the win in extra innings. Yasiel Puig had three hits including a home run, Howie Kendrick had two hits and Adrian Gonzalez added a hit as the Dodgers scored six runs on nine hits. Starting pitcher Brandon McCarthy allowed six hits and five runs while striking out 10 over 7.0 innings but didn’t factor in the decision as Yimi Garcia got he win. For Tuesday’s game the Dodgers start David Huff who pitched for the Yankees last season where he was 3-1 with a 1.85 ERA striking out 28 over 39 innings.

Dodgers vs. Mariners - 4/14/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Mariners got out to an early lead on Monday but they were unable to hold on as they fell to the Dodgers. Nelson Cruz hit two home runs and Dustin Ackley and Kyle Seager both hit home runs as the Mariners scored five runs on six hits. Starting pitcher James Paxton allowed six hits and five runs while striking out six over 6.1 innings to not get a decision as Dominic Leone was hung with the loss though Tyler Olson allowed the game winning hit. For Tuesday’s game the Mariners start Hisashi Iwakuma who allowed nine hits and five runs while striking out three over 6.0 innings to take the loss against the Angels.

Los Angles is 17-8 against a right-handed starter, 3-5 in their last eight interleague home games, and 9-2 in their last 11 home games. Seattle is 7-4 in their last 11 games, 1-5 in their last six interleague road games, and 1-4 in Iwakuma’s last five starts. Seattle is 5-3 in their last eight games in Los Angeles.

Iwakuma wasn't at his best last time out and the M's really let one get away on Monday but I look for them to bounce baack here and get the win in a low scoring game.
