Starting pitcher Carlos Martinez allowed three hits and run while striking out four over 6.0 innings to get the win and Trevor Rosenthal earned his fourth save. St. Louis is 4-0 in their last four games, 37-15 in their last 52 home games, and 19-7 in Wainwright’s last 26 home starts. Cincinnati is 16-35 in their last 51 road games, 1-5 as an underdog, and 1-4 in Leake’s last five starts. Cincinnati is 19-46 in their last 65 games in St. Louis.
The Cardinals are a big favorite here and rightfully so as I look for them to get the win and the series sweep.
