The Baltimore Orioles look to end their two game set with the Toronto Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre.

The defending American League East champion Baltimore Orioles are one of the favorites to win the division but right now they have yet to do anything to make them much more then in the mix with everybody else. The Orioles had no pitching in a 13-6 loss at Toronto on Tuesday with Bud Norris allowing nine runs on six hits and a trio of BB with the pen allowing four more runs. The offense had a good night with 12 hits and a pair of walks with Manny Machado knocking in two while Delmon Young and Ryan Flaherty scored twice. The Orioles turn to Ubaldo Jimenez on the bump for his second start of 2015 against Toronto. Jimenez picked up a 7-1 victory in the first meeting with a one hit shutout with eight strikeouts in seven innings.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Baltimore Orioles - 4/22/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Toronto Blue Jays seem to have what it takes to be a factor in the American League East but that always seems to be the case and only time will tell if this is the year the Jays make an impact. They certainly made an impact against visiting Baltimore Tuesday behind a big offense and solid starting pitching. Lefty Mark Buehrle upped his record to 3-0 with three runs given up on eight hits through fix innings pitched. Toronto pounded out 16 hits and walked four times with Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion going deep and drive in two runs each. Jose Reyes, Ryan Goins and Kevin Pilar combined for seven RBI’s. The Red Sox hand the ball to Aaron Sanchez for his third career start and second versus Baltimore. In his first outing against the Orioles Sanchez was charged with three runs on seven hits over 3.1 frames in a 7-1 defeat.

The Under is 10-3-1 in Baltimore’s last 14 Wednesday games and 30-11 in their last 41 games as an underdog while the under has gone 8-3 in their last 11 on astroturf. Toronto are 9-3 in their last 12 Wednesday games and 2-6 in their last 8 games on astroturf while the Blue Jays are 2-6 in their last 8 home games. The under is 11-4-1 in the last 16 meetings with Baltimore going 18-44 in the last 62 meetings in Toronto. If Jimenez is on his game the Orioles have a shot and if he struggles this could be another rout…
