As a team the Padres are hitting .262 with Derek Norris hitting .337, Yonder Alonso hitting .333, and Matt Kemp hitting .320. The Padres pitching staff has an ERA of 3.95 with the starters at 3.38 and the bullpen at 5.05. For game one against the Giants the Padres start Tyson Ross who has allowed 27 hits and 14 earned runs while striking out 37 over 27.2 innings for a 1-2 record and a 4.55 ERA.
