The Milwaukee Brewers  look to keep the wins rolling in with another victory versus the Chicago White Sox.

The Chicago White Sox have the talent to compete with anybody but they do need both the arms and bats to be on the same page more often. That wasn’t the case in Monday’s series opening 10-7 loss at Milwaukee where the offense couldn’t overcome shaky pitching. Jeff Samardzija was charged with seven runs (five earned) on eight hits over six frames  for a no decision while Zach Duke served up two homers and three runs to take the loss. Chicago did their damage on 14 hits and a walk with Geovany Soto going deep and driving in two and scoring twice while Adam Eaton went 4-4 with two RBI’s. The White Sox are hoping ace left hander Chris Sale can rebound from a pair of poor outings. Sale has allowed 13 earned runs on 16 hits and seven free passes that has seen his ERA rise to almost six.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago White Sox - 5/12/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Milwaukee Brewers have been playing their best baseball over the last week or so as they attempt to dig themselves out of their early season hole. The Brewers survived shaky defense and relief pitching to outscore them visiting White Sox Monday. Starter Wily Peralta gave up two runs on six hits through six frames before Will Smith was charged with three unearned runs. Jonathan Broxton allowed two runs to blow the save but ironically got the win. The Brew Crew totaled ten hits and walked twice with Elian Herrera, Khris Davis and Carlos Gomez hitting homers and combining for five RBI’s while Gerardo Parra knocked in two more. The Brewers are scheduled to start Mike Fiers to the mound in game two of their series with the White Sox. Fiers is coming off of a 14-4 loss to the Dodgers where he was charged with five runs on five hits and five BB in five frames.

The White Sox  are 7-2 in their last 9 interleague games and are 21-43 in their last 64 road games. The over is 7-1-1 in Milwaukee’s last 9 home games while the the Brewers are 6-2 in their last 8 games as an underdog with the under going 10-4 in their last 14 Tuesday games. The Brewers might be heating up but they hit lefties at .198 and Sale is a good one so I’d go small on the visitors…
