The Milwaukee Brewers look to knock off the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field in Thursday action.

The Milwaukee Brewers are trying to make a move in the National League Central and a two game winning streak was a step in the right direction. Unfortunately the streak never reached three in Wednesday’s 5-2 defeat at Comerica Park. Starter Kyle Lohse threw well enough to win with two runs allowed on seven hits and two bases on balls over six frames before Jonathan Broxton was charged with three runs in 2/3 of an inning. The Brew Crew posted six hits and three bases on balls with Ryan Braun slamming a solo jack with Elian Herera slapping an RBI double. Milwaukee hands the ball to Matt Garza for his first match up with Atlanta in 2015. Garza is looking to bounce back from his worse start of the season in a 14-1 loss at the Mets with ten runs allowed on ten hits in 3.1 innings.

Atlanta Braves vs. Milwaukee Brewers - 5/21/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Atlanta Braves might be on the outside looking in at the top of the National League East but they have proven to be much more competitive then the experts expected. The Braves leaned heavily on their pitching in Wednesday night’s 2-1 win against Tampa Bay. William Perez was outstanding with the lone run allowed on six hits through five innings while striking out seven with four relievers putting up zeros. The Bravos smacked five hits and walked three times with Alberto Jose Callaspo and Todd Cunningham driving in runs.  Julio Teheran looks to pitch his team to another victory when he toes the rubber against Milwaukee. Teheran defeated Miami 5-3 with two runs plated (one earned) on nine hits and a walk in 5.2 frames.

The under is 5-2-1 in Milwaukee’s last 8 road games. The over is 15-5-2 in Atlanta’s last 22 home games and the Braves  are 2-6 in their last 8 Thursday games while the Braves are 6-14 in their last 20 games as a favorite. Milwaukee are 3-12 in the last 15 meetings in Atlanta and the under is 7-2-1 in the last 10 meetings. I think Atlanta has the edge in most areas and I’ll back them…
