The Minnesota Twins look to stay on a roll when the Milwaukee Brewers visit Target Field.
The Milwaukee Brewers are struggling to get their footing this season and that has them sitting in the basement in the National League Central. The Brewers have dropped back to back contests after a 7-4 loss at St Louis on Wednesday. A five run Cardinals first put the Brew Crew behind the eight ball with starter Jimmy Nelson charged with all seven runs on seven hits over five frames. The offense racked up 14 hits with Gerardo Parra going 4-5 with a homer and two runs while Adam Lind went 2-4 with a pair of RBI’s. Milwaukee opens their series at Minnesota with veteran Kyle Lohse on the hill Thursday. Lohse has struggled in back to back defeats with 12 runs plated on 17 hits including three homers over 8.2 frames.
