The Cleveland Indians look to even their series with the rival Detroit Tigers in Saturday action.
The Cleveland Indians are struggling for consistency and that is a dangerous slope in a very tough American League Central. The Indians never found their groove at the plate in Friday’s 4-0 defeat at Detroit. Starter Danny Salazar was solid with three runs allowed on seven hits over seven innings to fall to 6-2. The Tribe offense managed just seven hits and didn’t walk. With Michael Brantley and Mike Aviles both going 2-4 with only two runners reaching second base. Cleveland gives the ball to Carlos Carrasco who faces the Tigers for the second time this year. Carrasco will be looking to bounce back from a 7-3 loss to Baltimore where he gave up five runs on seven hits in four innings.
