The San Francisco Giants and the division rival Colorado Rockies in Saturday afternoon action.
The Colorado Rockies can be all over the map and need consistency if they expect to be a factor in the National League West. The Rockies are consistent right now with Friday’s 8-6 win being their 5th in six contests. Starter Chad Bettis was solid with three runs scored over six frames before Tommy Kahnle gave up three in the 9th. Colorado pounded out 17 hits and walked twice with Nolan Arenado going deep twice and driving in four while Ben Paulsen knocked in two. Carlos Gonzalez went 5-5 with three runs with Troy Tulowitzki scoring two times. The Rockies turn to left hander Christopher Rusin for Saturday’s start at AT&T Park. Rusin will be looking for consecutive wins after defeating Milwaukee 10-4 with three runs plated on seven hits over six frames.

Lincecum was hit hard in a 10-2 loss at Los Angeles where he gave up five runs on seven hits over 1.1 innings.

San Francisco are 3-10 in their last 13 home games and the over is 6-2-1 in their last 9 Saturday games while the under is 6-2-1 in the Giants last 9 home games. Colorado are 7-3 in the last 10 meetings and the over is 9-4-1 in Lincecum’s last 14 starts vs. Colorado. The Giants have struggled at home and Lincecum has really had some problems so…
